Supply List

2009-10 AC (Advanced Content) Supply list:  

The following items are needed for ALL students - bring to class daily
and store extras in locker until needed

notebook--wait until you get info from your teachers (different requirements)
OPTIONAL: pencil pouch, white out, thin markers
3 packs of WHITE notebook paper (3 holes)--can be recycled paper
10 pens (black or blue)
20 pencils #2, sharpened (check to make sure eraser does not smear)
1 set of colored pencils (sharpened)
1 calculator, basic (percent key would be useful to have)
1 pack of graphing paper (or you can print off the Internet as needed)
ACCELERATED READING BOOK
manual pencil sharpener--optional but recommended
The following items are needed for ALL students (most should be stored in locker until needed, but can be left at HOME)
1 ruler (with cm on one side and inches on the other)
1 flashdrive, at least 2G ---optional BUT highly recommended to backup work
4 glue sticks and/orliquid glue
4 packs of 3x5 inch notecards
4 highlighters
1 pair of scissors
2 trifold boards
Items requested by specific teachers (wait to see your schedule)
Bonstein (8th grade LA and SS) and Brauninger (8th LA):
1 Spiral notebook (Language Arts) , several sheets of poster board for SS and LA
1 Highly recommended to have a thumbdrive (USB memory device) to save documents
Gibson (7th grade SS & LA):
Spiral notebook for journal (not super thick)
McMullan (6th & 8th grade science)::
1 Interactive notebook --9x 11 inch (not 8x10) SPIRAL notebook (100 pages)
1 folder with pockets and central brads
3 RED pens for grading papers
If your NOT using the online textbook: X-LARGE cloth book cover
2 rolls of clear tape
Sneed (7th & 8th grade science):
1 Book cover --XL CLOTH
1 9 x 11 inch 5 subject SPIRAL notebook
3 Glue Sticks
1 Box of tissues
1 Roll of paper towels
Thompson (6th and 7th grade LA):
Notebook for Writing Workshop - 100 pages - spiral
Highly recommended to have a Flash Drive (USB drive) to save writing
Black & White Composition (not spiral) book for Reading Workshop
Colored pens for editing/revising
Waller (6th grade LA and SS):
1 At least one colored pen (not black or blue), manual pencil sharpener (very important)
1 Composition book, 1 empty cereal box, 1 bottle hand sanitizer - 6th LA
1 Box tissues, colored pencils, glue stick - 6th SS
