About The Teacher

This is my fifth year at East Side Elementary. While I loved teaching fourth
grade, I am excited to have the opportunity to assist our English
Learners develop proficiency in the English Language. In doing so, I hope to
help achieve the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for
all. I am passionate about promoting equity and compassion in human
relations by affirming the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, and spending time
with my family and friends. My two sons are my truest delight. Hayden is a
senior at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and Sam is a
sophomore and playing baseball for Middle Georgia College. I am very proud of
both of them.

Purpose
