Scroll down to find the date that you need and there will be a description
of what we did in class that day and any assignments due or upcoming
assessments.
****Since daily quizzes are actually pop quizzes and we have so many of them,
students do not make those quizzes up if they are absent. Any other quiz,
such as vocabulary quizzes, will require a make-up quiz after an absence.****
****Tutoring is available after school any day that I don't have a meeting,
just make an appointment with me so I know that you plan to come. There is a
list of Spanish Honor Society students and AP students who offer peer
tutoring available in every Spanish classroom. Please get help if you need
it.****

Spanish III: February 6, we discussed the workbook exercises from Friday. We
started copying the new vocabulary for Ch 4A. Quizzes will be
Weds (1-20), Fri (21-40), and Mon (41-65). Sets are on Quizlet,
and the vocabulary is on both websites already.
February 7, we finished copying Ch 4A vocabulary. We pronounced,
defined, and discussed the words. Tomorrow we will have a quiz
over 1-20 of Ch 4A. Sets are on Quizlet.com and lists are on both
websites.
February 8, we took a vocabulary quiz over Ch 4A 1-20. We went
back to the exercise we did in pairs the other day and discussed
everyone's ideas for that exercise. We discussed the rest of
p 165 about making connections with word families.
February 9, we read together and discussed the Fondo Cultural on
p 167 about holidays like Valentine's Day. We will make
Valentine cards on Monday in class. Bring in any markers, colored
pencils, crayons, or things you like to use for making cards for
that project. We wrote a short paragraph about an important
friendship in our lives, and shared some with the class.
February 10, we took a vocab quiz over 21-40 Ch 4A. We took notes
on the different uses of por and para. We will have a quiz over
41-65 Ch 4A vocabulary on Monday and we will make Valentines.
Please make a plan for what you will write on the card so you
can get it all finished during class on Monday.
