Congratulations to the following students who have been selected for the
University of Georgia Middle School Band Festival (Mid-Fest):
Daniel Oliver, James Barefield, Rebecca Smeak, Anna Clay, Tawny Tuccitto,
Katie Bruss, and Matthew McCullough.
6th Grade Band: Students should view the DVD on instrument care and
maintenance. Students should have a combination lock for their band
lockers. Band Handbook forms should be signed and returned to Mrs. White by
Sept. 7. Band uniform shirts have arrived and were distributed in class on
Nov. 3.
7th Grade Band: District Honor Band and All-State Band practice each Monday
and Wednesday afterschool until 4pm. Winter Concert: Monday, Dec. 7 at 7pm
at Evans Middle School. Jazz Band rehearsal begins on Tuesday, Dec. 1
afterschool until 4pm. Sign up sheet for jazz band is posted in the bandroom.
Afterschool full band practice is Wed., Dec. 2 until 4pm.
