Technology Vocabulary
1. Technology – Technology takes place when people use their knowledge
to extend their abilities, satisfy needs and wants, and solve problems.
2. Engineer – An engineer is a person who uses his or her knowledge of
science, math, technology and communication to solve design problems.
3. Invention – Is the process of designing and manufacturing new products
4. Innovation – Improving and changing a technology product that already
exists
5. Criteria – Are the things that the product must do or include.
6. Constraint – are the limits placed on the design and the resources
that can be used.
7. Brainstorming – is a process in which group members suggest ideas out
loud as they think of them.
8. Prototype – is a working model
9. System – is an organized way to achieve a goal
10. Impact -To have a strong effect on something or someone.
