Why are TECHNIQUES so important?

Techniques are important because good body posture, with centered position 
in front of the keyboard, are essential ergonomics which allows for longer 
concentration without so many 'aches and pains'.

Finger exercises allow the muscles and joints to stretch, strengthen, and 
loosen so they will become more flexible while keying.

BIT III--Why should we learn about getting a job at our age?

1st and foremost:  because your parents want you too, ASAP!!!
Part-time and full-time jobs are becoming essential for today's teens and 
college bound students.  Our economy is such that most families have two 
parents working and the responsibility of supporting a house-whole is 
tremendous. Students need to realize the value of a dollar as early as 
possible!!  This class is no longer offered in the HS!!
