Homework

** ALL BUSINESS STUDENTS MUST BRING A FOLDER AND PENCIL TO CLASS DAILY!


9-WEEK EXAMS May 15, 2012;

STUDY GUIDES WILL BE GIVEN & AVAILABLE ON-LINE (see homework tab)
TWO KEYBOARD VOCABULARY tests will be given to all BCS I students, the third 
week of each nine-week period.

BCS I:    KEYBOARDING          VOCABULARY TESTS:  March 27 & April 10, 2012

PRACTICE saying letters with finger movements DAILY. Technique sheets with 
grades of 75 and below, must be signed by a parent and returned. (I ask all 
students to get the first technique sheet SIGNED, no matter the grade.)

Students MUST learn ALL letter locations--keep your keyboard chart at home 
and practice daily.

***STUDENTS MAY WORK IN CLASSROOM BEFORE SCHOOL OR AFTER UNTIL 3:30
      YOU CANNOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST WEEK FOR MAKE-UP TIME....

9-WKS. EXAMS ARE GIVEN....ALL students will have a study guide (ON WEBSITE)



BCS II:   COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Students will demonstrated learned skills using MS 2007 Word and EXCEL.

Students will be completing typed assignments using formatting styles such 
as centering, block, bold print, underline and inserting clip art (putting 
it behind text and in washout form).

A formal report will be typed including a title page, table of contents, and 
references.  A simulation project will be typed, also.  ALL DOCUMENTS DUE ON 
THE DAY ASSIGNED........

These assignments are saved and printed during class.  Exceptions may be 
made due to illness.  Copies of documents are AVAILABLE and may be E-MAILED 
BACK TO ME.  PLEASE do not ask for extention on time due!

The last two weeks we cover EXCEL and PowerPoint.  



BCS III:  Communications/Finance/Careers

Students will demonstrated learned skills using MS 2007 Word, EXCEL, 
Publisher, and PowerPoint.

HOMEWORK in this CLASS:

Students will be working on a Banking Unit and a "Getting A Job" 
booklet (typed), the first part of the nine-weeks.  If you fall behind, some 
of the booklet may be TYPED AT HOME AND E-MAILED BACK TO ME.   

During September/October, each student will take part in "teaching" a chapter 
in our textbook, "Succeeding in the World of Work".  You may access 
information by going to  http://www.glencoe.com

Complete banking & career classwork for homework, if necessary, and turn in 
the next day.  NO LATE PAPERS.........
