Activities ~ Lessons ~ Homework
This homework is intended to complement the academic teachers homework, they
should never have to do double work. If they are already doing this homework
for another teacher then they can turn in the same homework for me unless
specified otherwise.
Please, have your child read a minimum of 20 minutes per day 7 days per week
and then have them summarize what they read about on the writing on their
reading log 4 times weekly. (2 sentence summary) For the other three days of
the week your child may tell you verbally what they read about. If you don't
think that your child comprehends what they are reading, have them read out
loud to you and see if the reading level of the book is right for your
child. If you have any questions PLEASE don't hesitate to call me at work or
home. 706 863-2275 and we are the only Belchyk in the book!

afternoon. If your child is spending more than this amount of time on
homework, then he or she should work for 1 1/2 hours and then stop. Homework
is intended to support what is being taught in class. No new skills will be
sent home for homework.
