I have been living in Georgia for over ten years now. I grew up in a
military family so I moved around alot as a child. I graduated from the
University of Georgia in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood
Education. I recently earned a Master's Degree through Walden University in
Reading and Literacy.
I enjoy staying active which includes running and playing tennis. My husband
and I play mixed doubles together. We have four cats and live in Acworth,
Georgia.
It is my mission to create a safe environment where all learners are active
participants. I believe children should come to school each day knowing they
can share their thoughts and ideas without fear of ridicule. I want to share
with them how everyone is unique and special in their own way, and how this
can be a good thing. Through my actions and words, I will help students
develop their unique strengths and talents. I hope by creating a safe
environment, this will enable students more time to work hard to achieve
their dreams.
