S* make up a code & write words in code*write each word 6 times in cursive*write a story using all the wordsStudents must earn at least 100 points on the spelling contract each week.
P*rainbow spelling - each word 3 times* type each word 6 x on co*write a poem using at least 1/2 of the wordsThe student may choose how to earn those points by the completion of a combination of activities listed.
E*divide the words into syllables*make a word search and find the words*write a TV commercial using at least 1/2 of the wordsThis contract is their spelling homework each week. All assignments are done at home.
L*Illustrate at least 1/2 of the words*write sentences using the words (underline the words)a word s*write a rebus story using all the words*Use the words on the spelling list that comes home on Monday.
L*draw a picture & hide the words in the picture*make a crossword puzzle using at least 1/2 of the words (include answers)*write a song using at least 1/2 of your words (sing it to teacher)*Don't forget to also practice other words from their Sitton Word List in their folder.
I*write the words as many times as there are syllables*cut letter from a magazine or newspaper and glue them on paper using your words*Make a game that uses your words (include directions)*Contracts are DUE FRIDAY morning.
N*trace your word in shaving cream 3x each (Parent note required)*choose 3 words and make as many new words as you can out of them*Develop a product you can sell and use 1/2 of your words to advertise it. (Your advertisement should be made on a poster. Be creative!)HAVE FUN!!
G*use pasta letters to spell your words (glue on paper)*using the pattern for the week, search for other words that contain the same patterns. (You must draw circles, sqaures, or come up with a way to sort them)*Make a mobil. Use ALL of your words to write sentences on the pieces that hang from your coat hanger. 
 *play a spelling game with your words by going to spelling links on our home page (Parent note required)*Using a dictionary, look up each word and write the quide words from that page. (Use all your words!)* Create a comic strip and write captions using your words. 
 *write your words in ABC order 2 times *Make a study bag: Write your words on one side of the cards and sentences on the other. Put them in a bag. Have your parent quiz you.  
 *take a practice test with a parent (parents must check it)*Find a recipe that has at least 1/2 of your words. While you help cook, a parent can quiz you on your words. (Parent Note required)  
 *write your words from longest to shortest and then shortest to longest.
