Dear Parents,
Students should have a study guide in their binder for the southern
colonies. There will be a quiz on this material on Friday. In addition,
there will be a spelling quiz (sort #28) this Friday.
The Monday folder will go home on Friday this week. I'll attach a mid-
term progress update to it with your child's current grades and A.R. points.
If you haven't returned the forms concerning the field trips, please
return them as soon as possible. The trip to the Tellus Museum will
be on Monday, March 12; the trip to the Fire Safety Village will be on the
following week on Wednesday, March 21.
If your child wishes to exchange Valentine's Day cards on Tuesday of
next week, they are welcome to do so. It is completely optional.
The 80's Dance is coming soon on Friday, February 24th from 6PM-8PM. In
addition, this Thursday, February 16th is Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night from 5-8.
Monday night's homework will continue to involve getting on the internet
and completing two math activites on Study Island. Your child will not get
credit unless they achieve at least 70 percent accuracy. If you
don't have internet access, let me know. I will give your child an
alternative assignment on that night.
