| To prepare your child for 5th grade I will follow a progressive program with
turning in homework. At the first quarter, you child may work on it after
morning work and then sit out for 10 minutes of recess. After I see
progression we will follow a "If you don't turn it in, you will sit out of
recess!" I will allow your child to go outside to do their time.
The students will receive a combination packet that will consist of a
spelling packet, reading activity, as well as a language activity. This will
be do on Thursdays.Spelling test will be given on Fridays.
Take Home Contracts and papers will be sent home every Monday. Please sign
and return on Tuesdays.
Students may also have a few math reinforcement activities to do as well
throughout the week.
Please help your child by helping them to be accountable and begin letting
them organize their time and work efforts independently.
