I am looking forward to a fantastic year! I feel very fortunate to be doing
something I love so passionately. I know that all of us pulling together
will help make your child succeed at anything they may wish to adventure. My
philosophy is very simple: Teach every child the basics in a rich diverse
learning environment. I believe that it is important to give each child the
skills and the guidance to grow both socially and emotionally. I truely
believe if you hold them to high expectations, they will meet them with
love, support, and positive reinforcement. It is amazing to me to look at
the
end of the year and see what they were capable of achieving and overcoming.
I spend a great deal of time helping each individual child discover on their
own both strengths and weaknesses. I believe that if they can find it
themselves it becomes their personal mission. They will begin to foster
their strengths and grow in their weaknesses. If they believe they can do
it, they will. Please help me find that independance and motivation that I
know that they have inside. I know your child will make you proud!
Please be aware that the first and second week of school is used to conduct
benchmark assessments. This will help me know exactly where your child's
strengths and weaknesses are!
