All About Mrs. Sproat

  I am a third grade teacher at Pickett's Mill Elementary. I grew up in 
Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Georgia in 2006. This will be my fifth year of 
teaching. I really enjoy teaching students reading, writing, and creative 
thinking. 
  My husband Cole is also a teacher in Cobb county. He is a high school 
special education teacher. We both enjoying visiting the beach, eating out at 
restaurants, and playing games. 
  This is going to be a very special year! My heart is devoted to teaching 
children and providing them with a positive learning environment and a rich 
learning experience. Let's work together to make this year great!

Positive Learning Environment and Rich Learning Experiences

  It is my goal to help your child acquire a genuine love for learning and 
school. We will work hard to accomplish many goals. The learning environment 
will be positive and caring. I love making learning fun. Singing, dancing, 
chanting, games, and hands-on activities make learning enjoyable and 
memorable in my classroom. 
  It is also essential that the parent and teacher relationship is strong. I 
am here to help you in any way I can. My communication on your child's 
Daily Report is a way for you and I to communicate. Please feel free to
