Hi, my name is Pam Rountree. I am a Cobb County Native and am proud to say
that I went to all Cobb County Schools. I went to Hollydale Elementary, Tapp
Middle School, and McEachern High School. I believe that Cobb is one of
the best places to be!
I graduated with a BA in Primary/Elementary Education from Southeastern
College in Lakeland, Florida. This year will be my 10th year of teaching. I
began in Cobb County in 1997, teaching at Kennesaw Elementary in 4th grade
and shortly after that came to Frey Elementary where I've taught 3rd, 4th,
and EIP. I am also proud to say that I completed my Masters of Education
Degree in the Spring of 2007.
This year my husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary. He currently
owns his own construction business. Most of his work is in finishing
basements, but he does most anything. He loves this business.
We have three wonderful kids, Layne 8 years old and Cole 6 years old, and our
newest addition Emma Kate born on October 17th, 2008. They
keep us going!! I'm excited that Layne and Cole will both be attending Frey
this year.
I wouldn't have it any other way.

My mission for my class is that every student feels that they can learn and
grow. Each child will be challenged to work to their potential, strive to go
beyond, and to feel successful. I believe it is important to teach children
how to think on many different levels and to take that skill with them when
they move forward. Every child will come to class and know that they are
important, special, and has something to offer our class. It takes both
school and home to make a difference in a child's education. Let's work
together to give our children the most positive experience!
