Homework

  • Your child will usually have homework on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.  I may give light homework on Wednesday as I know this can a busy day for some families.  No homework will be assigned on Friday unless it's absolutely necessary that I give a test on Monday.
  • Your child should not be spending more than one hour doing homework.  If they are, we need to schedule a conference to discuss this.
  • Homework assignments are posted on my homework board in the morning and the students are expected to write it in their planner during their homeroom time.  Mrs. Marshall and I post each other's homework in both classrooms.
  • Please DO NOT clean out your child notebook and throw anything away unless you ask their permission.  I don't always get to check assignments the next day because we simply run out of time.  It breaks my heart to hear a child tell me their parents threw their work away.

parrot.gifI will be posting generalized descriptions of what we are doing.
Please check your child's planner for daily assignments
and
specific test dates.
