What day will graded papers come home?
Graded papers will come home every Wednesday (unless Monday was a holiday). Please
sign the attached sheet to signify that you have seen the papers
and return the folder and the papers the following day. At the
end of the nine weeks, the papers will be sent home to keep.
What does my child have for homework?
Homework assignments should be written in their planner. Tests,
quizzes or projects should also be written in the planner. Your
child should not have more than 60 minutes of work each night,
Monday through Thursday.
What is the best way to contact the teachers?
The teachers prefer email, since it is checked throughout the
day. We also have voice mail. Mrs. Bozzarello's voice mail is 706-
650-6060, ext. 5870.
When can I have a conference with the teachers?
We can meet before school between 7:45 and 8:15, during Specials
time from 8:45-9:30, or after school at 4:00
(with the exception of Thursdays). We prefer to meet with
parents as a team and need to have time to arrange our schedules
so please contact the homeroom teacher a couple of days in
advance. We appreciate your planning a meeting so that we may
have all the information needed ready.
May I bring a treat for the class on my child's birthday?
By all means, please do! It is so important to have their day be
extra special. The only request is that it be something easily
passed out at lunch (at 11:06). Cupcakes, cookies, or ice cream
treats are very popular. Cakes that need to be cut and served are
not recommended.
