| Dear Parents & Students,
Welcome to Mrs. Burdette's 8th Grade Literature Page. This will be my first
year teaching at Greenbrier Middle School. I'm very excited about meeting
my students and getting school started. I hope to meet everyone at the Open
House on Thursday, August 9, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
The first day of school is August 13. We will start the year with a study
of Georgia authors. Expect your student to come home with reading
assignments the first week of school.
I like to use email to communicate reminders and announcements throughout
the year. It is very helpful if all of my parents and students with email
addresses can send me an email the first week of school. By doing this, I
can add you into the address book and avoid typos.
We are going to have a great year!
