Tuesday 12/18 - Presentation of final novel activity.

Thursday 12/20 - Movie, Call of the Wild and Reward Activity
LAST WEEK
Monday 12/10- Students will read, discuss story and enter on the reading log
in their small groups. Some groups may be working on their activities.
** Final Exam Study Guide will be distributed.
Tuesday 12/11- Students will read, discuss story and enter on the reading
log
in their small groups. Some groups may be working on their activities.
Wednesday 12/12- Activity #2 Due. Students will read, discuss story and
enter
on the reading log in their small groups. Some groups may be working on
their
final activity.
Thursday 12/13 - Students will finish their stories and discuss the main
theme, plot and characters as well as work together on the study guide for
the final exam.
Friday 12/14 -Activity #3 Due. Review for final exam on Monday
WEEK of 12/03 - 12/07
Monday 12/03- Review in groups the reading to date, read the designated
pages
in class, make entries on the reading log.
Tuesday 12/04 - Reading Quiz, students will use a double bubble to compare
to
different settings or characters in the book. Students will then either
read
or work on the group activity.
** Possible homework as group activity #1 is due on 12/5.
Wednesday 12/05- Group Activity #1 is due. Students will read, discuss
story
and enter on the reading log in their small groups.
Thursday 12/06- Students will read, discuss story and enter on the reading
log in their small groups.
FRiday 12/07- Students will read, discuss story and enter on the reading log
in their small groups. Pop Quiz covering the first half of both stories, 5
open answered questions.
WEEK OF 11/26 - 11/30
Monday 11/26- Library Check out. Introduction to Small Group Book Review and
Activities. Students grouped and designed a strategy to cover the book and
activity in the time allowed.
**Homework, complete the flashcards for vocab #5 and fill in the blank
Tuesday 11/27- Read chapter 1 of the group book, summarize the chapter on
the
reading log and work on the "Complete the Sentences" on the vocab #5
worksheet. Complete the Sentences is for homework if not completed in class.
Wednesday 11/28 -Read chapter 2 of the group book, summarize the chapter on
the reading log and work on the Synonyms and Antonyms section of the Vocab
#5
Worksheet.
** Homework is to study vocab words for quiz on Friday.
Thursday 11/29 - Read chapter 3 of the group book, summarize the chapter on
the reading log and work review vocab words in the small groups using the
flashcards.
** Homework is to study for vocab quiz on Friday.
