| CRCT is almost upon us! CRCT will be given the week of April 21 - 25.
We are doing everything we can to prepare the students to perform well on
these tests. YOU as parents can lend a hand by helping to make sure your
student gets a good night's sleep each night before the test and comes to
school well fed and energized to do their best on the test.

Some big changes have happened in the new year here at GMS. Mrs. Burdette,
sadly, had to leave and I have moved to teaching all of her classes. Mr.
Jordan, a recent Georgia Southern graduate has come in to take on the
classes I taught first semester. I look forward to finishing out the year
with my new Literature classes. I know we're in for a great semester.

I am available before school most days at 7:00 a.m. for any student who
needs extra help or tutoring. Please make the arrangements to meet with me
at least one day in advance. The most effective way to contact me is by
email; expect a speedy response. My planning times are from 1:10 to 1:55 and
from 2:40 to 3:45. These are the best times to reach me by phone if needed.
