About The Teacher

I am the mother of three wonderful children.  Tyler graduated from Augusta 
State with a degree in Finance in 2006, Laura is a sophomore at Augusta 
State majoring in Biology, and Katie is a 9th grader at Greenbrier High 
School.  My husband of 30 years works for Westinghouse at SRS.  

I have always wanted to become  a teacher and after working at Riverside 
Elementary School as a Paraprofessional for 7 years, I decided it was time 
to go back to school to finish up what I had started. I graduated on 
December 11th, 2004, with A BS in Middle Grades with Math and Science as my 
concentration areas.

Mission For The Class

My mission for my class is to prepare my students for high school with the 
hope that somewhere along the way they will develop a love for 
Science.
