This is my 11th year teaching and all in the middle grades in Columbia
County, Georgia. I taught 3 years at Riverside Middle and now in my 8th year
at Greenbrier. My subject concentrations are in social studies and
mathematics. I enjoy teaching middle graders and hope to provide a basic
understanding of geography, different cultures,and writing skills.
Additionally, I hope to be a good role model for young boys and girls
teaching them good character, values, and how to excel and get along with
others in an academic environment.I have been married for 25 years to the
same woman and have quadruplet children ( four 14 year olds, 3 boys and one
girl). Much of my life, day and night, is the kid business, which is great
but very challenging!

Currently teaching only Social Studies so the following is geared
toward that.
Provide experiences in understanding global affairs and respect for
diversity; in debating issues and solving problems; in developing personal
awareness, values, thinking skills, research skills, and work ethics; and,
in producing a well read, culturally literate citizen who has an
appreciation for our multicultural society.
I know this is alot but this is the Columbia County mission and I will
attempt to achieve this. Addditionally, I will share my personal experiences
as an American citizen and world traveler of 17 countries. In doing this, I
hope to make social studies as practical and interesting as possible.
