Next reading log due - Tuesday, October 14th
***For the year:
Reading Log: All students have received a reading log. Every 2 weeks
(generally), students will receive a reading log. Requirement: Read 200
minutes every 2 weeks; record reading and have form signed by a parent.
***The next reading log is due Tuesday, October 14th.

Monday:

Read "Stray"
Powerpoint: "Stray" statistics (shelters, animal control)
"Stray" worksheet
Homework: Reading Log due tomorrow
Tuesday:
Go over "Stray" worksheet
Preposition Powerpoint
Guest speaker from the Columbia County Humane Society. She will speak to 6th grade students in
the afternoon.
Homework: If you didn't turn in your reading log today, please turn it in tomorrow. I will
accept reading logs ONE day late (with a 10 point deduction). After that, you must have a late
pass to turn in your reading log.
Wednesday:
Take up reading logs
Read "Jackie Robinson" and answer assigned questions
Media Center visit
Thursday and Friday:
Fall Break!
