What are proper dress out clothes for P.E.?

Dress out clothes must be clothes other than what is worn to school.  It may 
include shorts, t-shirt, socks, tennis shoes, and/or for cold weather, a 
light jacket, sweater, or warm-ups.
The following items are not allowed to be worn during P.E:
tank tops
sleeveless shirts
cut off shirts and/or shorts
spandex shorts
backless tennis shoes
athletic sandals
hats

How are the students graded in P.E./Health?

The students are graded on:
-dressing out
-participation
-test grades
** health grades (counts 1/3 of 9 weeks grade when health is taken)
***Each time a student does not participate/dress out (unexcused), the 
student will lose 5 points.

How are students excused from participating/dressing out in P.E.?

Students must have a written excuse from thier guardians in order to be
counted as excused.  If the excuse is for more than 3 days, a physician's
written excuse is required.

What is the proper way to report an injury during P.E.?

Students should report all injuries to his/her P.E. teacher immediately.  
Injuries will then be reported to the front office and parents will be 
notified if it is an emergency.

What happens if a student does not dress out/participate in P.E.?

1-4 times = points deducted (5) 
5 times = points deducted and verbal warning
6 times = points deducted and verbal warning
7 times = points deducted, discipline referral to parents, morning detention
8 times = points deducted, discipline referral to the office, ISS
