Is my attendance at chorus concerts a part of my grade?

Yes. You are a vital member of your chorus team and everyone contributes.
This is an assessment of your daily classwork for your family to attend and
be a part of your experiences at Greenbrier Middle School.

Where do I buy a long-sleeved white blouse and black skirt for my daughter?

Check the Penneys catalog, Wal mart, and any other store. The blouse should
have a collar, long sleeves, be all white, and abide by the dress code.
Also, nude colored hose would be the choice with black closed toe shoes.

What length should my daughter's black skirt be?

The length should be about an inch or so above the knee. Their black shoes
should be closed toe because standing too long can cause light headedness
due to swelling and staying in one position for periods of time.

Do I need to purchase new clothing for my chorus student?

Absolutely not. The concert attire is designed to have a uniform look for
the performing group. You may borrow from someone or find another way to
attain the outfit.

Does my son wear just a black tie?

The colorful the tie the better. Remember white dress shirt, longsleeved,
black slacks, socks and shoes, and most importantly a colorful tie.

Please always check iparent as we teachers are not perfect and an assignment
may have not been posted. I do teach around 250 students and yours is
equally important. Thank you for being on top of things. Email is the best

What if my child wants to join chorus?

You, the parent should notify in writing to the counseling office that you
would like to make this change and when would be an appropriate time for
your child to do so. Also, check the calendar and dress code for the chorus
expectations.
