Who is gives my child the grade?

First of all, your child earns their grade. It is recorded by the teacher 
that serves them. EX. If your child in with me for Reading, I record
their grade. If your child is with another teacher, He/She records the grade.

Does my child have homework?

Most nights your child will have some homework.  He/She should be reading 
everyday at leas 30 minutes.

How many days can my child be absent?

After 3 days, the office will send home a note.  After 5 days, you must have 
Dr. notices. The total number of days for the year is 10.

Does my child have to make up work missed?

If the absence is unexcussed, your child can recieve a "0".  If the absence 
is excussed, your child has three days to make it up. It is up to them to
ask the teacher for the makeup work.

Do I need to attend IEP meetings?

Yes, you are an important part of the IEP team.
