First take home project
"All about Me" Collage

Show and Tell date: September 1st
Parents,
Every child in my class will need to complete a take home project. All teachers are required to implement the Georgia Performance Standards which includes class projects. Every child will receive a special treat for participating. I need you to work together with your child and help him/her create a “me” collage. I am sending black construction paper for you to use in constructing the collage. You are not limited to this paper. You can use poster board or another type material of your choosing. Your child can cut out his/her favorite food from a magazine and glue on the collage. Your child can glue pet photos and family photos on this collage. I want this collage to be filled with things about your child. If your child likes bikes, he/she could fill the collage with bikes. Please be creative. I will have a special show and tell on September 1st, and the children will share their collages with their classmates. All the collages will be laminated and displayed in our hall. Please make sure you turn the collage in on the due date. I don’t want any of the children to feel left out.
