| 8/25/08 Today we talked about the water cycle. Did you know that the water
we drink today was once consumed by the dinosaurs many years ago? Ask your
child about the vocabulary: evaporation, condensation, precipitation,
collection, transpiration, percolation
Our first homework assignment was given on a 1/2 sheet of paper, it is
called "The water in our lives". We discussed this assignment VERY
thoroughly with the students. If s/he still has questions, please email us
and ask. The assignment is due on Monday, September 8th.
Target class will not meet next Monday due to the Labor day holiday.
8/18/08 It's Day 1 of Target, and we are already well into our study of
Earth's water. The children have some papers for you to look at and one to
sign (Buckley's class). Some children have a matrix puzzle to complete for
next Monday. Please remember, Open House for Target is tomorrow morning at
7:15 AM,
in the trailer.
