Ms. Lloyd is a 1988 graduate of Shaw High School. She earned her BA in
Biology at Columbus State University. She returned to Columbus State
University in 2005 to complete both her MEd and EdS in Educational
Leadership/Administration and maintained a 4.0 average in her post-graduate
studies. She was inducted as a member of Delta Kappa Pi Educational Honor
Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. She has been teaching for
15 years (2yrs. at Columbus High School and the last 13 yrs. at Kendrick
High). She is married, has 2 step-children, ages 19 and 16, a grandson that
is 2, and a beautiful niece, age 5 that is the light of her life. She also
has 3 furbabies - Cherokee (named after the Kendrick Cherokees), Grey
Kitty, and Opie. Teaching seems to run in the family....Ms. Lloyd's sister
is an elementary teacher here in Columbus, GA. Ms. Lloyd's aunt retired
from teaching at Arnold Middle School. Ms. Lloyd's cousin is a special
needs teacher in South Carolina.
