Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a great holiday break! I can't wait
to hear all about what the kids did over their break. Below are a few of the
topics we will be discussing in the month of January.

*Beginning, middle, and end sounds in words
*Letters: Gg/Jj/Dd/Kk/Ww
A few notes on the month of January:
-January 18 school will be closed for the MLK holiday
-January 25-29 school will end at 12:20pm due to conferences. Please let us
know in writing if your child's transportation will be different than normal
during this week.
-It is very cold! Please dress your child accordingly as we do try to go
outside everyday.
-Our Book-It form this month will change to a minimum of 15 books.
-Conference letters will go home soon. Please make every effort to attend the
conference at the scheduled time. If you are unable to attend please include
another day/time that week that will work for your schedule. With 21 students
rescheduling can be difficult but I will do my best to accomodate your
schedule.
