& XTRA CREDIT OPTIONS) BESIDES THE OBVIOUS, I GIVE BONUS POINTS ON ALL TESTS
JUST FOR RECORDING ASSIGNEMENTS.
(( A )) Biology Tutorials Week of May 18: Tues pm
(PM = 3:30-4:30 & AM = 7:45 to 8:15)
Current assignments: Notebook check this week & Final Exam on Friday
An extensive study guide was given out for EOCT & the final information will
be basically the same so another guide will not be needed. The State
mandated EOCT counts as their final & the test they take Friday comes form my
old tests. The only new information on the test this week will include any
information we have done since the EOCT.
Test over DNA, RNA & DNA Technology is on Tuesday. Students have had
quizzes over some of the DNA/RNA info already. They need to prepare for the
quiz. NOTEBOOK check late this weeka as well. Vocab for next unit due
Wednesday.
(( B )) Biology has more vocabulary than the 1st year of a foreign
language. Students should be reviewing their notes daily, or at least every
other day.
"Are You Keeping Up?" quizzes may appear at any time..........
(( C )) See Announcements for Extra Credit options. Extra credit is
mentioned all semester & every week. Studnet shave ample opportunity to
earn bonus points all semester. Extra credit for the 6 weeks is added at
the end of each 6 weeks.
(( D )) LATE WORK POLICY:
I will accept late work (Ex: labs, homework assignments) ONE day after the
initial due date under these conditions: (a) After the initial due date the
work can, at best, receive 50% of the original grade. (b) If we grade the
assignment in class, I will not accept it late. The school’s Make-Up
Policy guidelines will obviously be practiced. Work is due the next day
upon return from an excused absence.
