Honors Biology

1-10: Print last page of syllabus, sign and return tomorrow. Get any needed 
supplies (check supply list). Study terms from today's class.
1-11: Students should complete the Identifying Lab Equipment lab from their 
packet (if not done in class). 
1-12: Complete Identifying Variables (both sides) in packet. Quiz tomorrow on 
Lab Equipment and terms
1-13: M&M lab completed in class today; graphing practice WS (in packet) due 
Tuesday
1-17: Safety Symbol mini-poster due by beginning of class tomorrow(if not 
completed in class); Test Thursday (review sheet on back of packet)
1-18: Skater metric worksheet due at beginning of tomorrow's class; study for 
tomorrow's test!
1-19: Students should complete the Biochemistry word search (in their new 
packet); they should also define 5 terms (previously unknown words/terms) 
from the wordsearch in their notebooks
1-23: Students should read "what are enzymes" (in packet) and answer 
questions on the following page. Test on Biochemistry unit scheduled for 
Thursday (review sheet on back of packet)
1-24: Students should complete Macromolecule flip chart (if not finished in 
class)
1-25: pH lab completed/turned in today; review sheet created for tomorrow's 
test (show Dr. J before test tomorrow)
1-26: complete vocab & color animal cell as explained in class (in new 
packet, if not finished in class)
1-27: Label microscope; read microscope article/answer Q on following Pg (if 
not completed in class)
1-30: Complete both crossword puzzles in packet; quiz tomorrow on types of 
solutions
1-31: Cell test scheduled for Friday
2-2: complete plant cell color; test tomorrow
2-8: Students are required to complete Cell Webquest (if not done in class); 
this is due tomorrow. Test on Mitosis/Meiosis/Cell Division on Friday (review 
sheet at back of packet
2-10: DNA/RNA vocab (new packet) due Monday; those student helping with the 
Special Ed dance on Monday are required to stop by the classroom and pick up 
missed work after the dance
2-13: Students should complete the DNA worksheet in packet (color all parts 
and answer accompanying questions)
2-14: quiz tomorrow; webquest assigned (Due no later than Thursday); finish 
RNA color/questions (if not completed in class)
