February 21 - 24, 2012

Tuesday - LJ due tomorrow if not already turned in! Wed. is the last day that it will be considered on time.

Tuesday / Wednesday - Begin new Vocabulary from text book - Read along in pages 374-387 on oceans to complete the definitions. Vocab is due on Thursday.

Also - there will be some practice CRCT tests assigned to do on line on all topics covered so far, over the next 6 weeks. The tests will need to be retaken until a perfect score is achieved.

Students should have their GTID to log into the Georgia OAS system for this.

NO HW on Thursday (STudent led conference night ) and Friday.

Tuesday - Review for the Quiz tomorrow. It will be on the vocabulary and scientists' theories - see "Astronomy Vocab HW" link at left - this is the sheet you should be studying!

Wednesday - No HW tonight - unless you have not finished your Star foldable project in class. Unless there has been an absence, these are to be done in class (Friday, Tuesday, and half of Wednesday after the quiz.) and DUE at the end of class Wednesday for full credit. If nor complete, it may be taken home for a MAXIMUM grade of 90%.

Thursday and Friday will be spent learning about renewable and non-renewable resources. (Ch 6)

Thursday's HW - Read the Ed Helper handout. Do the questions on back. Underline or highlight all answers and indicate what paragraph the anwer is found.

Friday - Look at the night sky and check out the astronomy links on the LINKS   page. Lunar journals will begin next week, to coincide with the new moon!
