-Born 30 January in Detroit, MI. Raised in Baltimore, MD. The oldest of
three children plus one.
- Going into my 6th year as the Panther Battalion JROTC Army Instructor and
loving it even more!! Boy how time flies. I oversee the State and National
Champion Exhibition Drill Team and the State Champion Color Guard. I also
instruct the first and fourth year students.
-Retired (honorably) on 1 September 2002 with over 24 years in the US Army
-Served in Kuwait during Desert Shield 1991 as a Platoon Sergeant
-1 year in Korea as First Sergeant of 169th Signal Company
-3 years as First Sergeant of Regimental Noncommissioned Officer Academy,
Advanced Nonocommissioned Officer Course (ANCOC), Fort Gordon
-Final assignment as Directorate of Training Sergeant Major, Fort Gordon
-Earned AA degree in General Studies from University of Maryland
-Earned a BS degree in Organizational Magagement from Voorhees College,
Demark, SC
-Pursuing a Master of Education degree with Southern Wesleyan University
with a planned graduation date of May 2008.
-One son Jeffery Paul; 25 years old. He lives in Texas
-An active member of Faith Outreach Christian Life Center where Richard B.
Peoples, Sr. is Pastor.
