Homework for the week of November 9

You must complete the middle activity. Choose two more activities to create a tic-tac-toe.

 

  • Put your spelling words in ABC order.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Create a ch bag or box. Find pictures of things that have the /ch/ sound to glue to your bag.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Write the days of the week. Tell something you did or will do on each day in sentence form.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Draw a picture showing the setting and characters in your bag book or in Sam’s Song in your reading book.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Take a pre-test over your spelling words. Write words you miss five times each. Turn in the pre-test and your word practice with your homework.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Write five sentences using five of your spelling words. Circle the nouns and underline the vowels.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Create a list of words that have the ch sound. Make sure your list has at least ten words.
  • Read for at least 10 minutes and record on your reading log.
  • Study your sight words and spelling words.
  • Practice your address. Write it down and be prepared to tell Mrs. Wright your address.

  • Find these words in a magazine or newspaper and glue them to paper to create a word collage. Be creative. Eat, now, too, not, together, help
