Can you believe that winter break is almost here! With Thanksgiving so late
in the month we only have 12 days left……..but who is counting. We are hoping
to complete matter before we leave for the year, so we will be moving
quickly. I want to congratulate both Noah and Samantha for being our
classroom winners of the Spelling B. To be honest I never thought we would
find a winner with the amount of outstanding spellers that I have. Mountain
View will have our spelling b for our school next Friday so save the dates
moms!
We will be going to the symphony next week which I love. Sorry parents but
we do not need chaperones! The fifth grade team is asking students to come
dressed up, as if they were going to a very special occasion. We are asking
that the students wear nice pants/cargo instead of jeans with shirts tucked
into their pants. The girls are asked to wear nice pants as well or a
skirt/dress for this time.
Our winter party will be held on Thursday December 17th, at one o’clock. I
know the students are counting this down! Again an enormous thanks for all
of you support and hard work with your child.
