Graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle!).
Has lived in Atlanta with husband Cal and family for the past 34 years.She has been 
driving to MVPS for 30 years!!! However only 10 as a 3 year 
old teacher - previously as a parent chauffering her 4 children to
school @ MVPS.
Favorite past times include reading and visiting her grandchildren, Hayden & Harrison, in 
Dallas Texas and playing with her youngest grandchild, Maddie, who lives in Dunwoody.


MISS MARIA

This is my 7th year at Mt. Vernon.
I started teaching Pre School in 1983 when my son went to 
kindergarten.
I taught in Columbus, GA and RochesterHills, MI. I took 2 years off 
while we lived in Chicago.
My husband & I met in college. We are very happy to be back in 
Georgia.
We enjoy traveling, especially to visit our son who lives in New 
York....
And we love Auburn football! WAR EAGLE!
