Hello, 3rd graders!!
This week we will finish talking about our local, state, and
national governments. Miss Davis will be bringing us some cool
lessons on Cesar Chavez, too.
Our story for this week will be "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."
**Thanksgiving lunch will be served in the Cafeteria THURSDAY,
Nov 19th. Parents are invited to each lunch with their child on
Thursday. Adult can eat for $3.75 and will be served Turkey, Gravy,
Sweet potato casserole, corn bread dressing, green beans, cranberry
sauce, roll, and cake. PLEASE RSVP to North Columbus NO LATER THAN
Tuesday if you are planning to attend.
SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED ALL NEXT WEEK FOR THANKSGIVING BREAK.
CLASSES WILL RESUME MONDAY, NOVEMBER 30TH.
***MULTIPLICATION FACTS*** Because multiplication facts are in
the 3rd grade standards, we have to begin learning them. Any student that is
still learning addition and subtraction facts will be required to quiz for
both. Multiplication Quizzes will be given on Monday and Tuesdays. Any
students still left to quiz over addition and subtraction will be tested on
Wednesday and Thursdays. All tests are still timed for 1 minute.***

You can slso set up email notification for when your child takes a test and
get answers to many questions about the program. An easy access link is now
