Essential Agreements

As a class we discussed the Essential Agreements we would need to help each of us to be safe, happy and successful throughout the year.
 
We pledged to follow these agreements to the best of our abilities, and to be principled students, developing inquiring, knowlegeable and caring characteristics, striving to be life long learners and helping to create a more peaceful world, by being compassionate, understanding, active and respectful learners and citizens.
 

       Our Essential Agreements
 
Listen when others speak.
(open-minded/respectful)
 
Care for each other.
(caring/empathy)
Choose the right.
(principled/balanced)
Quiet when working.
(knowledgeable/thinkers)
Walk when indoors.
(co-operation/commitment)
Keep hands and feet to ourselves.
(respect/independence)
Raise your hand to speak.
(inquirers/communicators)
Be the best you can.
(integrity/enthusiasm)
           Clean up after yourself.
