Mr. Findley starts his 38th year in public and private education in the
Atlanta area. The first eleven years of his career was spent in DeKalb
County schools. Mr. Findley’s private school experience began
at Marist School in 1985. While at Marist Mr. Findley taught history, coached
football and basketball, and was the Dean of Student Discipline. After a
brief stint in Manhattan, New York at York Preparatory School for two years; Mr. Findley
worked at Wesleyan School as their first History Department Chairman and at
Pinecrest Academy as Academic Coordinator. Mr. Findley is a member of the
National Council for Social Studies and the Association for Supervision and
Curriculum Development. He has a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and
History and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision
from Georgia State University.
