Hello! My name is Debbie Erickson. My husband Peter and I have two
children, both of whom have attended school here at Odyssey. I have had the
privilege of being involved at Odyssey since it opened - first as a
volunteer, then as a paraprofessional and now as a teacher. I'm very excited
about our class this year and the many wonderful adventures that await us.
I am originally from Connecticut where I earned my Bachelor of Arts and
certification from Trinity College in Hartford. This is my fifth year
teaching at Odyssey.
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my family, especially if it
involves being outdoors. I enjoy camping, hiking, and travel. I also enjoy
reading, knitting, and watching movies.
I am privileged to be working once again this year with Mrs. Sol Laso, who
is the paraprofessional for our class.
Our class mission is to provide a nurturing environment in which
students will, above all, develop a strong sense of self-worth and a genuine
love of learning.
