My name is Tracy Owens. I have been at Odyssey since they have opened. I
originally taught in the K/1 cluster and now I am going into my fourth year of
teaching in the 2/3 cluster. I have been married to my husband Joe for going
on 23 years. I have three children, 2 girls and a boy. My oldest is named
Jordan and she is junior at the University of West Georgia, majoring in early
childhood education. My middle daughter is Kristin and is a freshman at
Armstrong Atlantic State Univeristy majoring in history and economics. My son
Sean is a Junior at East Coweta High School, and is a member of the Marching
Indians (EC Marching Band). I have a B.A. in Business and
Marketing,from Lewis University in Romeoville, IL. I have also complete all
but one class for an associates degree in early childhood education. I have
taken the praxis II and passed and I am considered highly qualified in the
eyes of the government. I enjoy traveling, anything Disney, camping and
animals. I have three dogs and a guinea pig at home. I
love working at Odyssey and I am looking forward to another great year!
The mission for my class is engage the students in fun and interesting
activities that will increase their love of learning. I want them to learn
to think outside the box, and become life long learners.
