Mr. Yount was born in Oklahoma City,Ok and attended College at South Western
Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. His major was
Elementary Education with a minor in Science. Mr. Yount taught for 8 years
teaching 8th grade science in Cobb County, Georgia, 1 ½ years teaching 4th
and 5th grade in Alabama, 2 ½ years at North Forsyth High in Forsyth County,
and spent 2 years as the School Age Coordinator at Maxwell AFB in
Montgomery,AL. Mr. Yount has one daughter, Breana, 20 and is married to
Judi, who works at Dermatology Specialists of Georgia.
The mission for my class is to provide quality learning to all students.
Each student has the ability to learn and produce what they have learned
through a variety of ways. I believe in the concept of helping others through
sharing, caring, and maintaining a positive attitude.
