This is my 11th year at Peeples and my 31st year of teaching. I have taught
Pre-kindergarten through third grade and served as an administrator for a
year. I graduated with a Bachelors of Music Education degree and a Bachelor
of Science in Elementary Education from Mississippi University for Women. I
also earned my Masters of Arts degree in Administration from California
State University at San Bernardino. I have taught in California,
Mississippi, Tennessee, and Georgia.
I am orginally from Columbus, Mississippi. I have lived in Peachtree City
for 15 years. I have been married for 28 years to Wayne Collins, who is
a pilot for Delta Airlines. We have two children. Nicholas is a sophomore
at Valdosta State University and Sarah Grace is a fifth grader at Peeples.
In my spare time I like to scrapbook.
The mission of Peeples Elementary School is to provide a safe, nurturing
environment that facilitates the highest level of learning for all students
through a partnership with teachers, administrators, students, parents, and
the community.
