What is the homework policy?

Projects/Rubric
20%- on time, neatness, and following directions 
Must be turned in morning of due date
10% counted off if parent brings to front office
If not turned in next day, an additional 20% taken off (TOTAL 
40%) and all work student has at school will be collected and 
graded as is according to the rubric.
Home work will count as 5% of their overall grade.  
Students will start with a 100 for a homework grade
in each academic area.  Each missed homework assignment
will deduct 5 points from their grade.  
If a student reaches a 75 homework grade in any subject
area during a 9 week period, a parent conference will be
scheduled.  If homework is not completed, it will be 
completed in opportunity room and conduct cards will be marked.

When and where is the 5th grade field trip?

Blue Ridge Outdoor Education Center
Trip Date:  Friday, Oct. 28
Leave at 6:45 am and Return at 9:30 pm
Can only take 2 chaperones per class
Need a complete change of clothes
Cost:  About $70 Will have actual amount in September.
