Who would of thought when I was a student at River Road when it first opened
that I would one day be teaching there. I have been at River Road for 20
years. I have been teaching Kindergarten for 22 years. I really enjoy
working with the small child.
I am the mother of 2, Vanessa and Millard. They have married and
between the 2 of them they have given me 7 wonderful grandchildren, Brittni,
Eric, Cody, Cheyenne, Bryce, Hayden and Kaysen. They are the loves of my
life.
Our Mission in Kindergarten is to move through the stages of phonological
awareness, phonics, reading, writing, using numbers in our world and
exploring our planet, continent, country, county, city, community, family,
holidays, national symbols, economics, scientific processes,and technology,
while learning to contribute to our society in a positive way solving daily
problems.
