I have been a teacher here at River Road for 10 years. The first two years I
taught 1st grade and then I taught 3rd grade for eight years. It is very
exciting to return to 1st grade!! I have two wonderful daughters Sierra and
Chloe. My wife Karen is also a teacher. She has a Pre-K class at Children's
Friend. One of my favorite clubs to work with is the Student Council. This
year Mrs. Brooks and I will have the honor of guiding the 3rd, 4th, and 5th
graders who are either elected or nominated by their teachers. The Science
Olympics is another after school club that I proudly work with. Mrs. Johnson
and I will train with 6 students from 3rd, 6 students from 4th, and 6
students from 5th grade in preparation for a city-wide competition in May at
Columbus High School!!
