short quiz on the words of the week for a SPECIAL treat:)

Read 30 minutes each night!
Reading:
With any book at home, please
1. Do a “picture walk” through the book. (Ask your child to describe
what he/she sees in each picture. Help your child to observe major details.)
2. Enjoy reading the book with your child.
3. Reread the book as you point to each word.
4. Count the number of words on each page. Find the spaces that separate
each word.
5. Point to the smallest word, the largest word. How many letters are in
these words?
6. Go on a letter hunt. Find the letters in your child's name
