Homework

Homework is assigned on Monday through Thursday nights. Please check your 
child's folder each night for Homework and important notes from school. Thank 
you for all of your help to make this the most productive year possible for 
your child.

Read!  Read!  Read!

Homework

Read to or with your child and write the title on the April Log.  
Work on sight words every day! 
Have your child say his/her address, Columbus, Georgia, Muscogee County, 
United States and North America daily. 

Homework:
Monday – Practice reading your sight word list daily.  Math: Ordinal Numbers, 
Social Studies:  Review your address
Tuesday – Handwriting:  a, c,  d, e, f, g, o, q, s   Social Studies:  Wear 
the colors of Memorial Day and bring something about Memorial Day.  This can 
be the date, why we celebrate, who we honor, how we celebrate, any family 
history, a picture, etc.
Wednesday – Handwriting:  b, h, k, l, and t   Math:  Match ordinal numbers to 
words
Thursday – Handwriting:  i, j, m, n, r, u    Social Studies:  Wear the colors 
of Flag Day and bring anything you have that has an American flag, or any 
information about Flag Day, pictures, etc.
Friday – Read!
