As the Lower School counselor, I provide support
for our students and staff in many different ways. I look forward to working
with your child. And I am thankful God has me here to help develop the whole
person to His glory!

In an effort to help as we raise our children to
the glory of God, I have found a website that provides weekly parenting
newsletters. Please visit the National Center for Biblical Parenting's website

. You can subscribe to the email newsletter from
this site. You will also find other helpful information and book
recommendations that you may be interested in.
Tutoring and Study Groups: Grade levels may offer
study groups during the week. Have your child attend this free service. It is
a wonderful opportunity to review key concepts. Some teachers provide private
tutoring on campus after school. This is at a fee. If you would like a copy of
our tutoring list, please email me and I will be happy to send you a copy.
For Parents of children in grades 3-5, I recommend
reading Ending the Homework Hassel by John Rosemond.
Enrollment
It's that time of year once again! Your children
are blessings to us, and our prayer is that we will have the honor of working
with each currently enrolled Pre Kindergarten through Grade 4 student during
the 2011-2012 school year. Re-enrollment forms were mailed to families in
early December. They are also available in our Business Office, as well as on
our website. Your completion of this form helps us greatly as we make
staffing and class plans for the upcoming school year. Remember Re-enrollment
forms are due Wednesday, January 19th!
Quick Think A Thon
2nd grade will participate in the annual
Quick Think A Thon tournament on March 10th. The Exchange Club of Savannah
sponsor's this valuable learning experience! I will be in the 2nd grade
classrooms in the coming weeks to work with our students on safety information.
CHICK FIL A Spirit Night
SCPS Lower School will host an evening of
fun on February 3rd! Join us for good food, fellowship and fun! More details
to come!
